So called therapists are dangerous hacks. They all recruit vulnerable people into deadly dangerous 12 step cults. 12 step cults not only do nothing to address the problem, but all too often lead to suicide.
This is very, very bad advise you are handing out.
So called 'addicts' and 'alcoholics' are already professional victims. 12 step cults just polish their victim claiming skills. They also try to get their hooks into the so called 'addicts' friends and family, telling them they are 'sick' too. And the only cure is their particular brand of imaginary friend in the sky.
You either don't know the first fucking thing about the subject, or you are one of the so called 'addicts' here to promote the false 'disease' model and victim status.
Most of your response seems to be in reply to a strawman. I did not vouch for alcoholic victimhood status, 12-step programs, alcoholism as a disease, or salvation from above.
You're quick to call me ignorant, but it sounds like you've confused being strongly opinionated with being informed.
You vouched for so called 'therapists', which means you are vouching for all of that you just denied.
You'll be very hard pressed to find a single 'therapist' hack who isn't anything more than a 12 step cult recruiter.
As for being informed, I've forgotten more on the subject than you are likely to ever know.
You vouched for so called 'therapists', which means you are vouching for all of that you just denied.
Wrong, but enjoy your opinions.
