At first I was nervous about the job interviews -- thought I might be out of my league since many of the positions I was applying for were outside of my range of experience. But after running circles around my interviewers -- who most likely suffer from some kind of fap- or porn-induced brain fog -- I realized that if I worked for any of these people I would basically end up running the whole show while basically making them my bitch.

That didn't really sound appealing to me, but there were no jobs I could find where I'd be working for or with my intellectual equals. As gratifying as it would be to be the 'smartest guy in the company', what I'm really looking for in my life now is meaning.

To take my mind off the situation and this "stuck" feeling I was experiencing, I started playing around with day trading. "Hey, what the heck," I thought. "I've got $5 to blow."

But that measly 5 bucks quickly grew a hundred-fold as I picked winner after winner. You see, when you have the clarity of thought that comes from NoFap, it's much easier to assess probable outcomes in markets. It's little more than cause and effect.

So I think what I'll do for now is spend 3-6 hours a day trading, which will free up the rest of my time for self improvement. Does anyone know of any investors who would be willing to bet on a rookie investor? I could do some serious damage with 100k, but at the rate I'm going it'll take me days to get there.

You know I've got this bridge I could sell you, its a sure fire investment.

My analysis indicates bridges are terrible investments these days -- too much uncertainty now that feminists have gotten into the game. I would dabble in that market very carefully if I were you.

See I own this bridge in San Francisco, its a really popular bridge, I can sell it too you for a mere 10,000 dollars you'll make back the investement in 1 day I just have to get rid of it for personal reasons.

Not to make it a dick measuring contest or anything, but if your bridge was publicly traded stock I'd take the short position.

True.

It sounds great until you realize that the financial sector does zero zip nada for the country's well being. You can't create something from nothing so if you make money in the markets then someone else is losing. It's a zero sum game. (and in fact it's much worse than that but keeping things simple so I'll stop there).

And of course there will come the time where you're heavily leveraged and things don't go your way so you forced to either cheat (if you can) or take it in the shorts. Most people will cheat of course. Because money.

I'm excited for OP's new found sense of purpose and wish him well. But no one is as smart as they think they are. Experience is a great teacher though, I hope OP is at least smart enough to learn the lessons.

If you want to have true meaning then make something, something real. Not a pile of money. Start a business that employees people and makes a product that actually builds value, both for the company and for the community.

Stocks are just a way to make money quickly to support myself so that I have more time to spend focused on meaningful ventures. They are not the source of meaning in themselves. These voices are filling my head with instructions... weird terminology. Vampires.. rape trannies(?).. I don't get it but the longer I do NoFap the clearer of a picture emerges.
