The all girl cover nirvana cover band has more clout than they do.

They've been doing that shit since the '90's. Gwar is a very niche- talented but niche band that has a lot of satirical socio-political content. The late great Dave Brocke (former Gwar lead) reminded me of Frank Zappa

Thought they broke up after their lead singer died a few years back.

This isn't new for them. They've done shit like this for decades. Not sure why it's noteworthy now

I read once that they have killed every current president of the United States on stage over the decades they have been performing together—plus many other famous people.
