From the post:

>A Tennessee couple started the week off to a rough start when they woke up to their pit bull jumping on a gun and pulling the trigger, shooting his owner. Memphis Police responded to the couple's home on Whitney Ave. just before 4 am on Monday to find empty shell casings on the front room floor. 'While relaxing/ talking the victims dog jumped on the bed and got his paw stuck in the trigger guard and ended up hitting the trigger,' Officer Shaquille Phipps told Dailymail.com. The couple had been lying in bed with a gun, but instead of the weapon protecting them, it caused them pain and got them some unwanted attention. After the gun went off, the couple flew into a panic and called for help. When police arrived, the victim said that his girlfriend had left with the gun, according to Officer Phipps.

"After the gun went off, the couple flew into a panic and called for help. When police arrived, the victim said that his girlfriend had left with the gun"

Anyone else read that and think this was bullshit to blame it on the dog? Why wouldn't the girlfriend still be there and talk to police or drive the 'victim' to ER to check the injury out? Why is her first thought to run away with the gun and blame the dog?

My guess is that this did happen but the gun is probably "illegal". Like its a NFA, has a scratched off serial, was used in crimes, was stolen, etc...

So, the dog fired multiple shots? This shit doesn't add up at all.

Likely scenario, there was some sort of argument, she pulls out a gun and fires multiple shots. Guy probably has open warrants or something else so didn't want police involvement. Notice that it says they called for help, not that they called the police. The police were probably notified of a shots fired, followed by someone calling for help.

I imagine we're dealing with niggers here.
