From the post:

>Faceless, shrouded in black with red eyes and a top hat, it ominously lurks in the corner. The Benadryl Hat Man is a shared and recurring hallucination that people report witnessing when taking dozens of the antihistamine at a time. The figure, depicted in Halloween costumes, POV-Benadryl trip memes, and Walmart graphic tees, has become the symbol for a new drug trend that sees young people deliberately taking large doses of the drug, not to ward off allergies, but to get high.

My thoughts exactly.

I am starting to think the drug companies are making fake stories of stuff like this so they can force you to go to a doctor and get a more expensive less convenient and more addictive prescription.

They'd even be happy if it just resulted in dumb kids buying more, trying to get high, fucking up their livers and then needing whatever expensive medication they happen to have ready to treat liver disease. Just treat. Not cure. The treatment will last for the rest of their lives.

Exactly. It actually works for wasp bites and hives but yeah, let the assholes drop dead from it so the rest of us can be restricted to 6 pills a day.

I don't understand the desire to "trip" on anything. It always sounds fucking awful. Why even bother?

Hat man is the demons' lawyer. Don't forget about the spiders.

I was disappointed that the article mentioned the Benadryl Hat Man and didn’t include those memes.

I knew people who tripped on diphenhydramine twenty years ago.
