Also, the school should not only NOT be monitoring students social media, the school should not be able to do fuck-all about something that a kid does when they are not on school grounds.

They already did something about it. They suspended him for it (violating his first amendment rights) and unlawfully searched his possessions (violating his fourth amendment rights). Meanwhile the creepy teacher or administrator stalking a little boy's Snapchat account goes unpunished. I don't use Snapchat but to my knowledge, you have to friend someone on it to see what they post.

Yeah, I know they screwed this kid over. He is a White kid that posted a joke about a fake ass "ak-47". My point is to stalk all of the black kids with real guns saying they are going to shoot people and see what they do (nothing).

Also, no school should be allowed to have anything to do with a kids life if they are not on school grounds (regardless of what the time of day is).

Everyone involved in this kid getting suspended should be fired and never work in education ever again. Or maybe anywhere that is not a basic service industry job or something.

You're 100% right and it's baffling to me that people don't see how inappropriate and creepy it is when they do that. It's not just an issue of overly strict policies, it's akin to how a cult or groomers act. 24/7 information control is not normal.
