Or... they will do what they always do and will just modify/remove/disable that shit permanently. It will take all of about 5 minutes for the market to create a defeater device.
Then they will just make more laws to say a device like that is jail time.. But people are still going to use it. Your own security detail will use it or have vehicles that are exempt. This is how it usually goes.
