They had 2 huge car manufacturing facilities.
1 in Victoria which made Toyota 1 in south Australia that made holden.
They were even making police cruisers for the LAPD at one point.
That was around the same time I saw the bageljew at the airport.
The place went down hill from there.

Many of the latter Holden designs showed up here in the states as Pontiac G-series vehicles. Probably some of the best things GM had on the road for a while, save the NUMMI made vehicles.
