I have no sympathy for people like this.

If you live in a country for over a decade and never make a honest and major effort to get a permanent residency or gasp seek citizenship then get the fuck out. In the United states there are people that have lived here for over 20 years do not have residency and cant even speak English.

This guy is just a less criminal DACA (they want you to think they are kids, Most of them are in their late 20's or early 30's and have never even tried to get citizenship).

Mr Singh came to Australia on a student visa in 2008. He pursued a bachelor’s degree in social welfare but went on to work as a manager at a local restaurant. In 2016, he applied for the regional sponsored visa (Subclass 187) that allows skilled workers nominated by their employer in regional Australia to live and work there permanently. But as luck would have it, his visa application was rejected. Following this, Mr Singh applied for a ministerial intervention which too was unsuccessful. “Since I was left with no option, I decided to switch fields and return to social welfare. I was fortunate to get a job as a youth worker during (the) COVID (pandemic). But when I applied for a skills assessment, I was told I would need a further two years of experience in the field," he said.

So he tried to pretend to be a student for a while to bring his anchor family then switched to “I’m a master chef engineer!”.

They shouldn’t have been there in the first place. Streetshiters and shitskins don’t belong in countries built by Whites.

If they become citizens they probably won't get as much free shit!
