No shit, they try not to allow that to happen but it has been known for a LONG time that some always slip through. Also, what do you expect when you have "free range" and "cage free" chickens?
To top it off. The packaging clearly states they are fertilized eggs. She showed the $4.49 carton of eggs which had 'Trader Joe's fertile eggs' printed across the packaging.
Some guy has done multiple jewtube videos on exactly this stuff hatching ducks, quail, chickens, etc all from store bought eggs that are NOT labeled as "fertilized".
