I don't think they the students should have been put on probation but it does make sense to ban political ads being made as a school function. That's tax dollars.

It said they were still allowed to continue cheering, so it sounds like this is a total slap on the wrist.
I agree it is a good policy as long as it is enforced fairly and they aren't looking the other way if students support democrats.
