Murderers don't follow laws. Next thing you know, people will be saying making plants illegal stops them from growing…

But maybe if one of the proposed new laws made illegaler he would have decided not to kill people. /s

This article has some clear bias.

The West Texas gunman who killed seven and injured 22 people while on a rampage with an automatic rifle...

So are they saying they he modified the rifle to shot in auto? or are they just retarded libs who can't discern between full and semi-auto?

In Texas only convictions for felonies or domestic violence prevents people from being able to legally buy a gun.

False. Violent or gun related misdemeanors will bar you from purchasing a firearm, and the federal law applying to domestic violence still applies.

Private sales also do not require the checks either, which can include sales at gun shows, they added.

The inclusion of gun-shows here is purely political. If its a private sale... it doesn't matter whether the sale happened at a gun show, starbucks, or a back alley. Its a private sale.

All freemen have the RKBA ...

Will it result in the occasional shooting? Sure.

But the right is a right.

This guy also had an extensive criminal record which also prevented him from buying a firearm. Also to know is criminals do not follow gun laws and do not care about them. Stepping back and thought again after I've heard all of this was caused by a police stop, I've concluded that this was not domestic terror nor "white supremacy". Ator's motive is purely criminal he probably had a warrant out for his arrest and did not wanted to go back to prison and he also wanted to kill a few people including a DPS trooper by going out guns blazing.
