@lord_nougat's right. Why does the media report every time a storm blows through that people who live in the affected regions even bother with buying bottled water in the run up to a Hurricane? I remember people used to know to fill their bathtubs and keep empty water jugs around for whenever a storm would blow through so the family would have plenty of water to drink in such situations. These storm events occur several times a year. This level of disengagement and unpreparedness make no sense.

I don't disagree with him either. I think its just MSM looking to fill time and panic... etc. midwest is different with tornados, hell even straight line winds where your shit just disappears.

hurricanes cover such a large areas, I'm assuming the ones buying all them up are illegals or new residents that dont what you said.

Hell, we don't even get hurricanes where we live, and I have loads of filled water jugs in the garage, cellar, and closets of the house, just in case. And just last week there was a huge water main break a block or so away and the ladies at home were without water all day... until I reminded them that we have loads saved up. Daffy dames!

Doesn't the / wouldn't the hurricane provide aplenty of water ?

Besides, since this pretty much happens nearly every year, wouldn't people already have stockpiles of all the things they might need saved up over the course of a year? On, wait, these are FLORIDA MANS! How silly of me.

You don't need to "stockpile" anything.

It lasts like 2 hours.

Its wind and rain.

Deal with it.

WRONG!!!

Sounds like a perfect excuse to stockpile MORE AMMO!!!

And translucent purple dildos as well, of course.
