I pay my bills, I take care of my shit. More than one person I don't know shows up at my door? I don't answer that shit. We don't live in the 1950s. June Cleaver and her husband aint bringing me fresh baked apple pie to welcome me to the neighborhood.

That sucks. Neighbors literally did things like that when we first moved into this house. We remained close to them until they moved away. In one house, the neighbor is still super cool and we give her fruit from our trees on a somewhat regular basis, and watch her house for her when she's away. The other new neighbors are much less friendly, but they keep to themselves and seem like decent people.

Have zero idea if she asked them to leave and then placed them under citizens' arrest.

Possibly did. Dunno. Article is looking for clicks, so I bear this in mind.

One cannot arrest someone just for coming to your front door (you basically invite them -- so unless you take steps to keep people from getting to your front door, its an open invitation. You can tell them to leave and if they don't, its a trespass). I assume that the state allows for citizens' arrest.

When someone shady looking who I don't know comes to the door, I answer the door in condition zero.
