I'd bet that's where a lot of his money came from. It's not that hard to imagine he would steal money from many of his clients. What could they possibly do about it, report him? He could just leak a video of them diddling kids and ruin their lives. It's glaringly obvious at this point that the man was running a honey pot to blackmail rich and powerful people.
