I don't think he is to blame... seems like his reaction was "good luck with that." Seems like he is not expecting any blame to be had. And if he is not physically attracted to her but still loves her? Again no blame here... that is called love and devotion. Anyone who does not understand that ALL marriages that stay together and last eventually reach this point must be too young to really understand what time does to us as we age. No matter how beautiful she is and how well she ages and no matter how much you love her, one day you will wake up and not be attracted physically to her. Love can endure an eternity but physical passion fades.
Regarding physical appearance, yes, things happen as we get old but we can still stay fit-ish. I'm more concerned that mentally, she's a piece of shit cunt and picking her was most definitely his choice.
