I personally know a 737 captain for a major airline. He has flown the max. According to him, he says consider the facts. Ethiopian Air had 1 max. Lion Air had 11. Between the two, the planes that were crashed were operated a few times. The pilots had very low hours on the plane. The pilots were non-western trained. Yes the pilots were not white. All 3 major legacy airlines in the US have many 737 max planes flown hundreds of hours. No problem. No issues. No crashes. The big take away should be, don’t fly shit airlines from third world countries.
