I find the $200 finders fee interesting as it’s the same fee that the Dean Corll serial killings in Texas in the 1970’s gave to his two teenage accomplices.
There’s a “conspiracy” that there was more going on with those murders than killings, and that Dean Corll was running a human trafficking ring, but due to the age of that case we’ll probably never know. Same goes with the John Wayne Gayce serial killings.
