To my knowledge, there has been essentially no crime at Burning Man, except for bike thefts and the drug possession. Law enforcement wants to enjoy the festival and bust people for drugs.

They get that sweet undercover gig, lookin at titties, gettin head from a hottie in the hot desert air, doin all the drugs, and busting the people that held out. And when they come up dirty on their next piss test: "Gee Chief, guess someone dosed my water bottle when I wasn't looking".
