I see two factors that may be a huge problem. The desert heat in the summer might make them so soft they ride really low to the ground. Also in the really cold winter days when it drops down to like -30 or 40F the tires might become brittle on the spokes and that could cause some problems, also when inflatable tires you let some air out during or after a storm to get better traction on snow covered roads, you can't do that with these.
