Yeah, no one person does any of these things. This is just a classic example of the MSM wanting to find a female STEM type heroine, no matter what the truth of the matter is. The woman herself denied that she was any more significant than the 'team' as a whole. At least she was honest, it's a shame the press can't be the same.
