You know what, I'll admit it, I'm poor(by American financial standards). My wife and are both millennials, no problems in that department, if money is stopping your from having sex, your priorities are majorily fucked up. If money is stopping you from being intimate with your spouse, you should probably re examine the importance of money in your life.

I'll say it loudly, you don't need a lot of money to be happy, and if you are not happy when you have your basic needs met, you will not be happy when you have a million dollars. I've met guys with hundreds of millions of dollars that were not happy and I've met guys like me that didn't have an extra 50$ at the end of the month to go to the movies that were the happiest guys you ever met. Its about family and purpose, its not about money.

What a fucking whine fest! Bull Shit. All of it!

We are on a single income, I'm a SAHM. My husband makes six figures with a BA as a Merchant Mariner. He got his education nearly free. Anyone who wants to can do the same thing. His union just put out a notice that if you sign on and commit to a 36 month program (where you still earn a paycheck btw) you can work your way up from no experience (called an AB) to a ships officer. Then you will be making six figures + retirement and pension. Job security is a sure thing. There are only 11,000 Mariners that can barely keep ships staffed now and Trump just called for an increase in US flagged ships.

Also, the cost of housing depends on where you live. In CA we paid $2,800 a month for a shit box 800sqft rental. We moved to the Midwest last year. We started shopping around for houses last weekend. I just went to view a 3,000 sqft MI home that we can have built for us for $5,000 down +$5,000 each month until it's built (6 months build time roughly $30K down but done in installments). Since my husband makes $10K a month and we live on $4K that is completely reasonable.

Now, I unfortunately DO have $100K in student loans from earning two degrees. It sucks, but the Piper has to be paid. Once my kids are in school full time I can go back to work and pay it off.

During the Obama era I absolutely agreed with this articles assessment. No one was hiring and wages were frozen. We were on welfare and under-employed. However, post MAGA, this assessment just simply isn't true. Everyone is hiring everywhere for a decent salary. And yes, life IS expensive if you expect to live near the coast, eat at coffee shops every day, and buy a new iPhone once a year. But there are a lot of regions where life is very affordable and sex is G.R.E.A.T!
