Afro socialism is probably just a fancy name for tribal economics. I heard from a guy who’s barber told him that when working with Africans as part of an NGO dedicated to helping get Africans functioning in a way that will make it possible to sell them shit, I.e. have businesses that function, a common problem kept showing itself; as soon as one of them gets their hands on anything in the way of capital, everyone in their family shows up looking for a hand out. The expectation is that it will be given out to the “family” or tribe. The downstream consequences are obvious. Now bring this expectation of payouts into western society. It is anathema to meritocracy. Lotta syllables here.
