This here indicates a major problem.
There is only one side the DA should be on, and that is the side of the truth.
It is not about getting convictions at all cost, although it appears to be exactly this in this case.
Then again, if the DA was on the side of the truth, this trial would not have started in the first place.
We all knew that on day one. Self defense. Open and shut. And the DA had even more evidence of that than we did.
So, this is a malicious prosecution.
The DA isn't there to secure convictions at all costs, they had a layup with that kike that tried to execute Rittenhouse and never charged him. They are a motivated by anti-White hate infused into the system by jews.
I'm not sure that's how that works. IANAL though. In an adversarial system, the prosecutors sure act like their job is to secure convictions. Their careers are said to ride on it. Maybe they think they only prosecute the guilty? IDK

In theory, a prosecutor believes they know a suspect is guilty. So, yes - at that point - they should act with all of their resources (inside the law) to secure a conviction. Prosecutors are constantly passing on potential cases if (a) they don't believe the suspect is guilty, (b) don't believe that it is a good use of public resources to push the case forward, or (c) don't believe they have sufficient evidence to make a conviction happen.
Same with the police, just on a lower level.
But, this all breaks down when it becomes political. If they feel it would play out well in the court of public opinion (and win them an election to a judgeship or a DA position), then all bets are off.
IMHO, this is what happened in this case. CNN said that he was clearly guilty so they said 'good enough, let's fry this kid and then I can move up from ADA to DA.'

Yeah for sure. So at some point these are political positions, and they did whatever political calculation is required. Not wanting more riots. Getting elected. Getting threatened. Whatever.
