From what I have garnered, these American’s 4th, 5th, and 14th Amendment Constitutional rights are being violated. These guards are following orders from the warden on up. This situation especially pisses me off because it happened to my brother in March 2020, and he is dead now as a result of those violations. My brother rotted in jail for 30 days with no due process and lost his tractor-trailer and job over false arrest and imprisonment. How long can our Country withstand these assaults on our Constitution and on American citizens?

This is 100% true. Had a brother-in-law worked as prison guard in same prison as Charles Manson. He talked to him & Manson even wrote birthday cards & drew photos to my then young niece (I told them to burn them!). They now hire Haitians/Jamaicans for guards. Yes, they import them from other countries because no one wants to work in corrupt prisons any longer. It’s pure hell. Brother in law dead from riot that broke out there.

DC in this area is a state that is controlled by Congress. A few Republicans are advocating for the prisoners, but it seems unlikely Congress would pass a law to get stuff changed.

As far as trials not happening for over a year and abuse of pre-trial detention, this stuff happens all the time. This is actually higher profile than most cases. Yeah, a lot of the people whose process is abused are guiltier than Jan 6 defendants, but the abuses are the same. Many jails have been locked down 23 hours a day since COVID.

I think what is unusual is these are political prisoners. Most of the time this is happening because of neglect; because of an overburdened system that just can't handle the sheer amount of crime minorities commit in this country. Most of the time, it's happening to common criminals.

I don't disagree, but I don't think we live in a vacuum. if the US gets involved in a civil war, or some sort of internal conflict, then China will go on the offensive and grow their territory and power. Then, China will be the top dog, and we will be continually pushed further down the toilet until they finally invade and take us over. We need action now from our "leaders", or we will be forever lost (barring an act of God).

Most of the civil war will be about which territories gain control of the nukes. The reality is the south china arena is already completely lost to the US. Our fleets while good at projecting power over small third world countries will all be sunk nearly immediately in that area and there is no hope of winning any ground war there. China will have its hands full with India and a few others for decades and i doubt they will be able to spend any hardware or resources on sending stuff over to this side of the pacific in that time frame. The military hardware we have now is going to be found essentially useless to countering them anyway and North America needs 25 years to rebuild its manufacturing base and start manufacturing weapons that will actually be relevant in any kind of future war defensive scenario against a large power. The worst action that could be taken right now is to continue pretending like the US government is at all relevant because the only way the Chinese can win here domestically in the US is for us to be taken over from the inside out without a shot being fired. They wont land troops here because North america will turn into an order of magnitude worse than Afgahnistan was for the US government. So their only real option is take over government with spies and traitors and turn it against its own constituents and use it to proctor control here while they gain power in those other parts of the world. At this point im confident the only way to prevent that is the destruction of the federal government.

This is already being done.

I don't think I am as pessimistic as you are about the "destruction of the federal government", but I do realize it would be a ton of hard work and battles for years (possibly decades) to right this sinking ship. Decent leadership would be necessary as well, which we are currently lacking (Trump in office or not).
