This guy is one of the protected elite. He will face no charges and won't even see the inside of a court room.

Why? Because celebrities, especially hard liberal ones, get the upper tier of the justice system, and they're protected.

The husband of the dead woman is already 'thanking' Alec for his kind words. *Honk!

[–] [deleted] 2 pts

I can't believe that and need you should provide a source. Not saying your wrong.

[–] 0 pt

There was a payment, I bet. Alec kind of alluded to it. Said he had reached out to "support." He should. But it also shouldn't have any bearing on criminal charges.

They wouldn't fare well in prison.

[–] 2 pts

They'd be living the dream in Club Fed.

[–] 1 pt

Robert H. Richards IV wasn't even sent to club fed.

To be fair ( I know no one is) Who the fuck ever bought real ammo on site and loaded it is the criminal. Not disagreeing that alec is a stupid shit and responsible.

[–] [deleted] 3 pts

How interesting that he happened to just randomly shoot that girl in particular...

[–] 0 pt

Not saying you're lying, but could you give me a source

Wtf?

[–] 1 pt

And the person that handed it to him and yelled "cold gun" to the entire crew before they began filming...

[–] 1 pt

3 people should be put in jail for this shit. Lets see how many actually do.

[–] 0 pt

If someone told me a gun was "cold", I'd tell them they were retarded. Always treat a gun as if it's loaded.

Alec Fagwin is equally at fault for not checking the firearm himself.

As I said he is responsible. But i dont think its for not checking the firearm, he is just a stupid actor. He is responsible for what he did, not even for the film.

[–] 0 pt

Alec is important to those waging war upon us. Ergo only he is the victim

[–] 5 pts

It was voluntary. He removed the gun from its holster, aimed it at her and pulled the trigger. It should be a charge of felony manslaughter. He is a highly paid professional who should be held responsible to the expectation of of his level of competence in his profession.

Who loaded the gun?

[–] 4 pts

He failed on all 4 rules. The 4 universal rules of gun safety are:

  1. Treat all guns as if they are always loaded.
  2. Never let the muzzle point at anything that you are not willing to destroy.
  3. Keep your finger off the trigger until your sights are on target and you have made the decision to shoot.
  4. Be sure of your target and what is behind it.

Unfortunately, #2 and 3 can't be done in a lot of movies and shit- the director wants the actors to point guns at each other. It happens all the time, just watch one scene from John Wick.

Difference is, responsibility in using the right props. If it's a prop, then it shouldn't be able to project anything except a little tiny flash and some smoke. If that means they need a special replica of various guns made, then so be it- they have millions of dollars usually to fund their fucking movie/show (while laundering it at the same time). And if this is not possible for some reason, and you absolutely must use real firearms and have actors pointing them at each other, there needs to be clever editing used- so that they're never loaded while pointed at each other. And the weapon should be checked by at least 3 different people before being handed directly to the actor, who should also inspect their magazine's contents and ensure there are no projectiles among the blanks.

This whole situation is absurd. Alec Baldwin is a goddamned psychopath, like most high profile actors. He has quite a history of being a raving asshole, and then of course there is his "politics".

Who didn't check the gun before pulling the trigger?

[–] 0 pt

He pointed it at her and pulled the trigger. Always assume a gun is loaded.

[–] 1 pt

it's a period piece right? why would there be live ammo for a vintage gun on set?

hours before, the union crew had walked out and they were replaced by scabs. smart money says one of the union people swapped the gun on the way out.

[–] 0 pt

Bitch probably loaded wadcutters thinking they were blanks

If I was in my backyard 'shooting a movie' and I killed a guy, I'd probably go to jail.

[–] 1 pt

As I understand the situation, the people are fault are:

  1. The arms safety officer.
  2. The assistant director who grabbed the gun and handed it to Alec.

Since I know how to handle firearms, I would not feel comfortable aiming a gun at someone on a movie set unless it was a prop gun. I would check the gun myself before each shot because I would not be able to trust the arms safety officer to get the thing setup.

Never point the gun gun at anything you don't intend to destroy.

Why was Alec pointing the gun at Halyna and the director. Did he ever attend a firearms class?

[–] 0 pt

I memorized that rule when I was four. Is Alec Baldwin smarter than a four year old? Survey says...no.

[–] 0 pt

Had hypothesized that the bullet had passed through the cinematographer, then into the director. This has proven to be true. Moreover, some four or five days before the deadly incident, Baldwin’s stunt double had rehearsed the scene with blanks in the gun, resulting in concern & complaints about safety on the set.

Sounds like Quick Draw Big Bad Wolf Dad may have put his foot in a Tar Baby!

Is that a mixed analogy?

Je m'en fous !
Je suis négligent !
Comme un pantalon smarty !

Lots of people go on rants and point guns at people and pull triggers, that's basic gun safety and also hilariously funny joke.

I don't feel sorry for Alec, and have not fell for the MSM coddling of the gun grabber.
