I like the fact that every time the CEO appears on television to promote beyond meat they lose business

Unlike real food (meat) this fake stuff relies on global trade, it is toxic degenerate rubbish. Real meat will always be a farm away.

I wouldn't be opposed to BM if it was soy free and significantly cheaper than meat and almost as good. But why would you pay the same or more money for something that isn't as good. It's a retarded idea from conception.

Come at me when they make a meatless ribeye that's as good but only cost 8 bucks for a 1 inch steak.

I'm one of the few vegans on this site, and I will continue to buy Beyond until I see anything they've done wrong. As it is, their stuff is soy-fee, GMO-free, and they don't share office space with planned parenthood like 'Impossible' brand.

Logically, meatless shouldn't cost more, but so few companies are doing 'fake meat' correctly, and anything niche is more expensive, so right now I just bite the bullet and pay more for it. 2 burgers cost about 5 bucks. It's better than restaurant prices, but much worse than how inexpensive meat is.

For posterity, here's a couple companies I will NEVER buy from, because I don't trust them: Morning Star Farms, Impossible, Chosen foods, and Kelloggs.

2 burgers cost about 5 bucks.

With 2lbs of meat I can make 15 hamburgers for 10 bucks.

I know.

Morning star always made uncomfortable. It's Hebrew for Lucifer and I don't really like the idea of eatings satan's synthetic pork, Gods pork is cheaper.

ELI5, why morning star is heeb for lucifer.

I'm not up on my jew.

Exactly. I keep telling people what the name means, and nobody cares. Then they rebrand themselves recently as "incogmeato" featuring freemason symbols as the logo: https://pic8.co/sh/y7Nfkl.png

Its true. They do let you know

Well, you fuckers keep talking about it. You summoned me like Beetlejuice.

I hate veganism, but it's at least relevant to the conversation. I would never know this stuff because I walk right past that section of the store.

Doesn't help that it's overprocessed soy. I'd rather eat real homegrown vegetables.

It doesn't have soy but it has a shitload of oil, it's pretty garbage in terms of ingredients.

Edit: NM, I'm thinking of "Impossible" fake meat, Beyond is peas and such.

Probably better more protein from the vegetables

Saying consumers are "losing interest" implies there was ever any interest to begin with.

There wasn't

its cope. all it is is cope.

I wonder if this has to do with that article I saw about their plant being right next to an abortion clinic. Maybe it wasn't that but something like it...

ah, the chinese resturaunt next to the pound theory.

I don't speak to its authenticity. I just remember reading something. A tinfoil hat story probably.

That was Impossible, if I recall correctly.

EDIT: The only thing I found about Beyond is a reddit link showing 2 offices within 5 miles of a planned parenthood.

Impossible has an office on the other side of a street of one in California. I'm not sure about the 'sharing an office' thing. I heard that spread word of mouth.

This reminds me of a joke.

Why did the baby cross the street?

I've found that as I avoid products containing soy and not as heavily processed as fake meat is let's me lose weight faster. I couldn't imagine how large I'd get if I ate all that fake meat shit.

Stories like this give me hope that the NWO will fall flat on its face because no one wants what they're selling.

I used to think that too until I got it through my head that they control the printing of the currency, all the large banks, all the reserve banks and all the corporations. They literally own what we refer to as the system. They are never going away as long as we continue to operate within their system.

[–] 2 pts

Who cares? They don't own truth and the system exists for us to live within. When that system no longer works or serves our purpose, we simply stop. That's what happened in the soviet union. Everyone thought it was going to be 1000 years of tyranny until suddenly over the course of a few years, the individuals that constitute society and the entire system simply opted out.

Collectivist movements that stray from the truth (and they tend to) never work because the collective doesn't exist apart from the individuals that comprise it. Another way to put it: the system only exists as long as its constituent pieces are in place.

That was kind of my point. We, the people who use the system, have to stop, or create our own alternative systems. I hope everyone starts thinking that way.

Maybe with enough resistence they will reconsider the current plan is all I'm saying. Governments rise and fall, and it seems to be the case that the powers that be haven't considered everything.

All the brainwashed vegans who bought the stock got scammed. Serves them right.

They don't consume enough protein for their brains to function properly.
