Easy. Alcohol is not critical to survival, so you can't order it during your safety lockdown. That would be totalitarian though so they'll allow you a ration of 6 cans per week. That's one for every day of the week minus the shabbat, I mean sabbath.

Given that tyranny, I suppose they'll limit your time outside to 1 hour/day... oh... wait... they'll limit meat consumption to one burger/month. They'll issue food coupons good for only specific people, probably only vaccinated people. No cigarettes, cannabis, soda, sugary foods and so on.

I had this theory awhile back about the governments not wanting people getting drunk or high. It's part because they want people to be productive workers but the main reason is no form of escape can be allowed. Not even going home and getting drunk or stoned can be allowed to wear off a shitty day of serving Zog. People should be forced to like their shit existence.

That's actually more of a KJV problem than anything else.

My 400 replica of the KJV says,

Glory to God in the Highest, and on earth peace, good wil towards men.

Catholic revised 2nd edition goes

"Glory to God in the highest, and on Earth peace among men with whom he is pleased!"

A bit more inline with what you're saying but not perfect.

My Orthodox study Bible uses the NKJV so I can't really comment too much on that.

I postulated the idea that alcohol may interfere with the efficacy of the Holocaust jab and considering what is taking place; I opine I was on the right track. Since people that have gotten the jab are still getting the Covid; the jab has nothing to do with covid or the victims are heavy drinkers. If America starts rallying around abstinence of Alcohol; we will know what to do.
