Bleach was a legitimately good punk album, but Nevermind got the commercial success and the rest of their albums went downhill from there.
I stumbled on a music video by Spoon. Way better then Nirvana IMHO.
I mean im not a huge nirvana fan but spoon isnt really in the same lane. a good comparison for spoon in nirvanas era would be a band like blind melon.
Yeah, there were definitely better punk bands out there to be sure. A lot of the groups from that era changed their sound in order to get and remain on the charts though.
