I want to believe.

C'mon you dirty convicts. Be free.

[–] 0 pt

This will translate to a waiver for truckers only.

[–] 0 pt

Ok, and? Who says that gets the truckers to stop. Stop being such a loser...

[–] 10 pts

Having placed everyone else under effective house arrest, truckies are the one group the government really shouldn't have pissed off.

They Can force the tyrant Gov. to fold to the people if they make this happen. Because The when the stores are empty the People will EAT the bought off tyrants.

I'll put a 30% chance that it goes off without a hitch.

70% chance that

  1. the government divides them by giving just truckers a mandate

  2. uses the police/military

  3. pressures the companies they work for

  4. manufactures a distraction

  5. attempts on short notice to replace the truckers

  6. all or any combination of the above.

I tried to look it up but having a hard time finding an answer. Do you know the percentage of owner ops vs company drivers in Australia? Owner ops would have to be the majority for this to work. Company drivers just aren't going to participate.

Owner ops would have to be the majority for this to work.

Asking the important questions.

I wonder what the chances are that this many truckers can shut the highways down? That is a huge coordinated effort. Australia is fucking big, and manufacturers could still fly in supplies to local airports if need be. I hope it works.

I’m not trying to be a smart ass, I promise, but… and this is a genuine question…

Let’s say they do fly in supplies. How do they get the stuff from the airport to where it needs to go?

[–] 1 pt

Understood. Hire subcontractors. It's done with the mail through USPS. I actually did that job. There is always someone else to do the job. Someone ignorant of the situation will only care about the cash. I am sure there are plenty of people with trailers that would be willing to do this. I hope they succeed with what they're doing, but I won't discount businesses abilities to think outside the box.

so basically modern day scabs

[–] 1 pt

No, there's not "someone else" to do the job of driving big rigs, especially the road-trains in Australia... nor are there any other rigs to be driven, nor anyone to transport new rigs if the strike is on. If the goods have to be divided up and delivered in pickup trucks (e.g.), prices would be untenable for all the the wealthiest.

Super pricy & expensive goods get .... hijacked. If the prices for goods in the bed of a pickup skyrocket, it becomes a reasonable target for pirates.

[–] 1 pt

That takes care of transport itself, but what of the route? With all highways blocked off, sounds like shit is gonna get real interesting real fast.

I can't think of anything except freight rail which (I think) lines up with sea ports rather than airports around here. Presumably that would continue to get materials to some factories and allow some shipments out to port.

Not at anywhere near the required volume

If everyone gets on board, the tyrants have no choice. But don't stop at simply arresting these dictators, there needs to be a public hanging to send s message for future control freaks! Live free or die, PICK ONE!

power to them! never fall guilty of taking the poisonous jab or listening to the New World Order.

[–] 3 pts

They need a real plan to permanently dismantle the country's infrastructure, not just capitulate at the first bone thrown to them by the Satanists.

[–] 2 pts

Aren't they just planning one day for all this? Just one day of protests then they'll go back to work.

If that's the case, this is pointless.

[–] 2 pts

they're literally helping the Great Reset take down the middle class. they cannot keep it up long enough for it to have an actual debilitating effect on the nation, except on those middle income businesses who survive on lower margins.

[–] 0 pt

I agree. This helps the establishment more than hinders it. The truckers are targeting the people with supply line shortages (blockades).

If it's true that's it's a 1 day thing, it's down right retarded.

[–] 2 pts

The news on TV is reporting it as an industrial dispute between truck drivers and TOLL logistics company.

[–] 3 pts

That won't last long. They drive giant billboards. Just a matter of time before they figure that out and start pushing back against the propaganda.

I've always wondered why these 53' trailers don't look like a damn nascar. Seems like easy advertisement.

I hope they really do this
