People were told that they could get assistance paying for their rent but why do that when there is a moratorium that keeps you from getting evicted if you choose not to pay at all. These people who haven’t paid a dime in rent in a year and a half are expecting their past due rents to be excused and that they will be able to continue living in the place they have squatted in for a year and a half.
And only middle-class landlords will bankrupt so that all major landlords get thee full cake!

Last I read, it was a violation of the constitution for the government to cause the taking of ones a property ..emergency or not. Not in this case.
Everyone's paying one way or another (except government, it doesn't create anything of value since it takes money to fund projects). When you use force to stop people from being productive and pay for things, wealth is destroyed. There's no getting these going on two years back. They will cost us.

Even if the government is investing in wonderful things, it's not creating value. The companies it's giving the money to are creating the value. The government is just distorting the market by interfering in how consumers would allocate their money given free choice.
