Rancid seed oils high in omega six fatty acids are inflammatory. Omega three fatty acids are not. Processed food is stripped of nutrition, rancid oils hold it together and sugar is added to make it palatable. The western diet, with the perverse ration of 20:1 omega 6 to 3, is big time inflammatory. Many of our chronic diseases are off the chart in inflammatory markers. The fact is we have lost the ability to burn our stored fat. Most people don’t realize sugar is not an essential nutrient. Your body will make all the sugar you need from stored fat if you become fat adapted.

You mean to burn fat without going into ketosis? My doc say a body producing ketone bodies is a body in a dying state. However at the same time he explains to me that a fasting state is superior to a feeding state for the human body. Do you have a link you trust for fat adapted? I stopped intermittent fasting because of my docs advice on ketosis. I'm 6'4 205 pounds. Thank you, good info.

We are bombarded with eat, eat and eat from the time we get up until we go to bed. It’s no wonder we never go into fat burning ketosis because insulin never drops. Fasting is simply defined by the period between eats. Sheeple have become so carb adapted they get up in the middle of the night to eat. You can be insulin resistant and thin. A cat scan could show a fatty liver. Visceral fat is the sign of metabolic syndrome. There is a plethora of information all over the internet regarding fasting, keto, Autophagy (2016 noble prize in medicine). Your Doc needs some ketones to think more clearly. They clear up brain fog. LOL

Well he's definitely a proponent of autophagy and fasting just not ketosis due to the production of ketone bodies. Thank you sir!
