I would rather be out a year of income than having dead weight still occupying my rental.
You can't kick them out, and once you can, and do, their replacement will be just some dude someone else kicked out of their rental.

When there are literally millions of people with an eviction and a sad story to tell, and you need renters, cause that mortgage is due, that background check won't do much.
