At the same time it's a ruling upon a made up issue
I mean, of course the state cannot force you by law to say something, anything. 1st and 5th amendment. It's only because the courts and legal procedures are slow and tortuous as fuck that this thing could stand more than 10 seconds in the first place.
It's crazy that it got passed, first and foremost, it should never have seen the light of the day
