I kind of wonder if a public spanking would do more good in light sentence cases. Not like some flesh scarring Phillipino caning shit, but public humiliation could probably reform a person quicker than a jail in some cases. It's fucked up, but I still wonder.

I often think we should do the old biblical 'eye for an eye' thing. Some guy rapes and murders some woman in the most horrendous way possible, then they sit in prison crying about how they can't get the cookies they ordered or the TV channel they want. It makes ya sick when you hear the crimes and then watch how they coddle the bastards in prisons today.
