It's up to the parents to decide that stuff for the kid (for better or worse). I had to get all kinda shots as a kid to be allowed (such a privilege!) into the public school system, and don't recall it ever being optional. Guess things have changed since way back when. Anyway, I don't support mandatory vaccinations, and don't buy the BS the pro-vaxxers dish out....if their kid is vaccinated, and the neighbors kid ain't, that somehow threatens their kid. That said, I also don't buy the anti-vaxxer BS, that vaccines cause autism or whatever. For me its just a matter of choice, and keeping the damn government from going over the edge into full blown red commie mode. I do draw the line at them that refuse any/all medical treatment in favor of 'laying on the hands' christianoid faith-healing BS. If your kid has pneumonia, severed vein, or whatever, it's your responsibility to get thy silly arse to the ER!
If I could. I would. I can't bring myself to agree in this instance.
I'm always open for debate, and yes, I'm openminded...so you can change my opinion, and yes, once changed it will stay that way (at least til someone else comes along with a more irrefutable argument). The exception to this is SJW blather. Since I'm a longtime practitioner of Vairagya and Zen detachment, silly emotionalism has no sway, so facts and evidence purty please.
