A tactic being used by new zealand commies is to regulate landlords out of renting. The laws are so anti landlord that tenants can legally steal and destroy property. The government has also prevented rental income being tax deductible.

So landlords have reacted by leaving properties empty. Capital gains make it worthwhile.

Rent and rental shortages are skyrocketing.

So now the government begins anti landlord propaganda. "see how greedy landlords are? Leaving homes empty while the poor are homeless"
