I think that historically you can make a case for fairly high levels of corruption and shadiness for thousands of years. Im not sure that all of this is genetic and how much of this problem is shared by their close relatives the japanese and koreans. It may be that we are lumping together a lot of people in china that are diverse enough for these behaviors to be innate in some groups but not others. They do seem to be rather opportunistic in other regions as well. Ethnic chinese are pretty powerful in other countries like malaysia, indonesia, etc. They completely took over singapore. But we’ve done some of that shit too. There does seem to be a really mercenary jewish trait in some of them.
