Union workers and union bosses are not the same. My union endorsed Biden too because that's what unions do. But I'd wager something like 10% of the workers here voted for Biden.

So why do the union leaders not reflect the views of the workers? Something seems corrupt.

Good question. My best guess is because the upper ranks of the union begin to intertwine with federal and state politics.

From my experience, not many. Blue collar workers tend to skew republican now. Dems leave unions alone for the most part which is why they get backing from the unions but the workers aren't down with democrat give away programs.
