"No link" in the sense that there's "no link" between a fifth of scotch and a hangover.

Happens from any infection. You have a 1 in 1000 chance of encephalitis from contacting measles naturally. Any viral or bacterial infection could attack the heart, testes, etc. just like a vaccine.

That's why they tell boys not to do physical activity when they have the mumps, because it can inflame the testicles and cause infertility.

The difference is - there's no guarantee you'll catch the plague even if you're in the same room as someone who supposedly has it, and there's an even smaller percentage that something will go wrong with it.

If you're jabbing yourself with experimental crap - you're giving yourself a definite chance that something will go wrong.

Heart inflammation is a common health issue. It'd a non-issue unless we start seeing 10s of thousands or several enough to be sending all of them to the ICU. Usually its mild enough to not matter. You just take things easy until it abates.

What we should be watching for is testicular swelling/inflammation. That there's infertility causing.
