They want the IP address & phone number of the people who visited the article at a specific date and time (~30 minutes). It looks like the article was posted on a board somewhere and they want to know who its users are.

Yeah ikr, it all sounds pretty fucky, but off the top of my head, conceivably It may have something to do with forensic/ computer evidence found at the shooters address identifying the internet or mobile phone device of another person they also suspect of having or sharng cp with huber and perhaps attempting to tie that with deleting (cloud??) evidence after reading the story online ??. Or then again maybe just a glownigger slippy slope gambit designed to add to the calls to do away with personal privacy bc it 'hinders law enforcement investigations' ...
