Why would you say that? Have you heard of "auto-pilot"? RC commercial airlines have been possible for, uh...I don't know, decades.
auto-pilot is a real-time processing of huge amounts of data to keep the airplane flying in a set condition. RC requires a low amount of signal input to process on an incredibly simple system. A commercial airplane is not a simple system, but rather a huge number of systems processing huge amounts of data. there is no transmit/receive funtionality built into it, and to process all of that real time to the degree necessary to accurately fly an airplane is impossible.
I was training to be a commercial pilot. They have the ability to land, it's called ILS. Good lord.
