In looking at terrain theory I'm confused as to how an outbreak of disease could occur. How could an epidemic take place unless everyone's immune system was compromised in the same way at the same time? Doesn't make sense to me.

Some men experience labor pains with their wives. Empathy is very powerful. Using that logic, people that lack empathy should be less prone to common illnesses whenother factors are adjusted for.
