Age of consent laws were originally intended to protect prepubescent children who have no understanding of sex. They were not intended to apply to teenagers and young adults whose sexual behaviour is supposed to be restrained by their family.

Yes, she is disgusting and probably took advantage of him, but the law can't micromanage every teenager's sex drive. The people supposed to be stopping this kind of thing from happening is his family.
