"Improperly regulated" means "we let the commies have a few 'common sense regulations' and they took control of everything again."

no, it means "we left the market entirely unregulated and within a hundred years they blew through monopolies into regulatory capture and now the wealthy own everything and make all the decisions for you" as opposed to "we gave all the wealth to a few people and they kept it instead of being ethical. Now the wealthy own everything and make all the decisions for you."

entirely unregulated

regulatory capture

This is the best stand up comedy I've seen in weeks. Enlighten me, how exactly does regulatory capture happen in the absence of regulators? Sounds like quite a feat.

I was going to suggest getting rid of the regulators so there's nothing to capture and no way to build monopolies, but I've seen the light. Clearly we should just call the wealthy "nomenklatura" and the problem is solved. Perfect equality.

Monopolies happen in unregulated markets. Read a history book.

It's capture of the rest of the government.

I have. Never saw a stable monopoly that didn't have a government behind it somewhere.

It's capture of the rest of the government.

And they called it "regulatory capture" when it's actually "capture of everything except regulators" because...?

Simple solution anyhow: Don't have a government. If governments are so easily corrupted and so hard to replace they're not worth having.
