It kind of sets a bad precedent, but not for the reasons you think. Cops shouldn't abuse citizens, but this sends the message that (((their))) pets are not to be touched, especially when making a disturbance. Chauvin was outted. Riot police will remain nameless and faceless as they trample white people.
