I guess it depends a lot on the specific circumstances. If it were a lawful arrest, where I really had committed a legitimate crime? Well...no, I wouldn't. Are there circumstances where I would fight for my life to escape? Yes. But not in any instances anything like this. Almost always better to fight it in the courts.
