Hitler would have never risen to power without the popular consensus of the people, so in this case rose to power implies in my eyes adoration for his populace. What we have now is 90% of the people being fed up being given a consensus by fake majority that democratic ideals are popular, when they are clearly not
You are not wrong. But different audiences need different messages. I have found that pushing obfuscated historical facts is the best way to gain credibility. Most Americans don’t know that he was democratically elected. They think that he seized power in a violent coup after the false flag attack on the Reichstag.
Who could have put that idea in their head?
