I read something like 80% of child sexual abuse victims at the hands of priests are male. If anyone should be allowed to be homophobic it's the Catholic church.

Yeah this was all about the Catholic church coming up short on recruiting new priests over the last couple of decades. It was easy for them to turn a blind eye and recruit more gays ... which is definitely the root of this problem.

Churches used to be the best place for homosexuals to hide and enjoy respect from the church followers.

The problem is lots of these gay priests are pedophiles, so it was a win/win situation.

The Vatican is to blame for moving them to other parishes when they got accused of molesting kids, where they were able to continue without any problem.

Boo Hoo! Homosexuality is to blame for prison gangrapes, not the prison environment. The fact consensual sex is illegal, and apart from rare 'conjugal visits' pussy is nowhere to be found, has nothing to do with it. Saying otherwise is like claiming our wonderful Catholic Church's ban on priests getting married, having sex, etc., and being forced into celibacy (most are ill prepared to sustain), has anything to do with them becoming sexual predators....and don't you dare suggest otherwise, or it's off to hell with you!
