My understanding is that the government does not own the power company. If that is the case, then they are illegally interfering in a contract and should be sued. Tortious interference in a contract would be fairly easy to prove.
Wrong. The gubbermint can ORDER a power company to shut off power. They can also order water company is shut off supply. Remember the gym in new jersey?. Gubbermint did both. Do not think for one minute they can't. Unless you are on a well and generator, you are at their mercy. Oh and by the way, they also do this with your bank accts as well.
And they arrest them for having unsafe conditions, ie no power or water .
They create the "unsafe conditions" so they have an excuse to arrest you for said "unsafe conditions."
